Health & Safety Environment 3.2 Occupational Health and Safety Policy The Management of park lane group is committed to the health, safety, and general welfare of its employees; and extends this commitment to ensuring that our operations do not place our visitors and members of the local communities in which we are working at risk of injury, illness, or property damage. Accordingly, we ensure full compliance to all applicable Health & Safety Regulations and current Industry Standards by:
• Prevent injury and ill health
• Continually improve the OH&S Management system and OH&S performance
• Comply with legal and other applicable OH&S requirements
• Establish OH&S objectives at appropriate levels in the company, whereby performance may be monitored and targets may be updated in line with ongoing improvement strategy
• Communicate OH&S obligations to all employees working under the control of the company
• Providing and maintaining a healthy and safe work environment
• Developing, promoting, and implementing Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Ensuring that nominated Occupational Health and Safety personnel are adequately trained and supported
• Providing company personnel with protective equipment
• All park lane group employees are obliged to: Take strict precautions to ensure their own health and safety and that of their co-workers by adhering to documented Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Immediately report all observed hazards and potential health and safety risks to the nominated Occupational Health and Safety representatives This Policy is applicable to all operations and functions of park lane group Concrete Company; including those where business activities are taking place off site. It is equally applicable to contractors and suppliers operating in the company’s premises.
